The Hot Dip Galvanizing Process

Metallurgical Zinc-Iron Bonding

Hot dip galvanizing provides long-term corrosion protection through a sophisticated metallurgical process. Steel components are immersed in a bath of molten zinc heated to 450°C, creating a permanent metallurgical bond between the zinc coating and the underlying steel. This process forms multiple zinc-iron alloy layers that provide superior protection compared to paint or other coating systems.
